Superstar actress Sandra Bullock is known for a full successful career in film; from Speed, A Time To Kill, Practical Magic, Miss Congeniality, to her latest voice-over role in the animated Illuminations film Minions.

Sandra does the voice of character Scarlet Overkill, and the star’s name alone is enough to catapult the film into the press. But in the style of Sandra Bullock, she wants to do more and give back to the world through her charitable efforts.

And this time it is all about the shoes.

The Minion-inspired heels that were designed by Rupert Sanderson, are a delicious shade of Easter egg yellow with the Minion logo on top. Fortunately, Rupert Sanderson and the creators of Minion have one of the most beautiful women in the world to help promote the movie, and who also looks like a knockout in yellow heels.

Ms. Bullock sold ten pairs of the Rupert Sanderson heels this month at auction, raising over $42,000 for a charity called Art + Practice. The charity works within the community of Leimert Park district of Los Angeles to inspire youths in the foster system to get their education and expand their horizons through learning about culture and art.

The charity auction took place on Charitybuzz.com and People magazine reported that the very charitable Sandra Bullock matched the auction sales bringing the charity donation to $84,850.

We are sure that Art + Practice is extremely appreciative of the donation and the buzz that will now surround them and the amazing work they do in the L.A. area.

All ten pairs of shoes were autographed by Ms. Bullock, and the very first pair to hit Sandra’s feet on the red carpet debuted at the London premiere of the film.
